XL Lin

XL Lin is Executive Director and Deputy CEO of Esco Lifesciences Group; he’s also the founder, CEO, and President of Esco Aster.

XL has held roles from Sales & Marketing of life science tools and Singapore Local Sales/Service GM to Market Development Director. In March 2009, he formed the Esco Healthcare division—developing, designing, engineering, and overseeing Esco’s first downflow booths and aseptic isolators with hydrogen peroxide bio-decontamination. He also steered new product development and the strategic roadmap, leading the exec team across three regional HQs serving the global market.

In June 2015, driven by vaccine self-sufficiency for Southeast Asia, he founded Esco Aster, a bioprocessing tools & services provider to cut vaccine costs for the developing world. Today Esco Aster is an independent CDMO in the Esco Lifesciences Group, powered by the patented Tide Motion Adherent Cell Platform, specializing in GMP scale-up services for cell & gene therapies and cellular agriculture.

XL earned his B.Sc. from the University of Sydney, Australia.
