Mdm. Low Yae-Foong co-founded Esco with Mr. Lim Lay Yew in 1978. In the early days of Esco, Mdm. Low sparked the beginnings of Esco’s bulk dispensing line to respond to the demand for Witch Hazel decoctions at the time. To this day, she continues to adapt the operations of the Esco Lifesciences Group to changing market conditions and evolving industry needs across the 43 locations in the 22 countries where Esco operates.

Mdm. Low oversees the efficiency and profitability of all major operations and manufacturing facilities of the Esco Lifesciences Group. The subsidiaries’ trading and services, set up by Mdm. Low and Mr. Lim, continue to yield strong returns over time. The countries where the co-founders established Esco include Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, South Africa, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.

Through her leadership, Mdm. Low promotes results-oriented, highly organized, and agile teamwork, resulting in ever-increasing productivity geared toward excellence and innovation across the diverse international Esco workforce.

Mdm. Low holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Singapore.
