Dr. Amit Kakar joined the Board in May 2021.
Dr. Amit Kakar joined Ovo Holdings Asia in August 2020 as Head of Asia to lead investments and partnerships across China, Southeast Asia, and India.
He has over 25 years of healthcare experience in senior roles across India, China, Singapore, Denmark, and the USA. Previously, he was Head of M&A and Business Development at Everlife Asia in Singapore, Head of Healthcare Investments for Asia at Avenue Capital Group, and held several leadership positions at GE Healthcare.
Dr. Kakar is a medical doctor with a postgraduate degree in Radiation and Nuclear Medicine from Tata Memorial Hospital and Cancer Centre in Mumbai, India.
